What love is to each is different and personal, and yet we all experience it based on the same neurochemicals. I think we as people need to take a good look at what love is, and what it can be. I think love as an attribute of people similar to Willpower.

Love can be limitless if we let it. Love radiates like sunshine; just as the sun receives nothing from the plants it shines on, those who experience your love can grow in the light you radiate. Everyone in your life you choose to love can all experience your light. Loving one person does not have to take away from the love you feel for another.

If we free ourselves from doubts and are honest with ourselves and those we love we can have so much. We all have weaknesses; we all falter. These failings don't have to define us. Love can never be a burden. Not to those you love, nor you yourself. If your love burns the ones you care about you are a fool to call it love. If your love for another is hurting you, you have to ask why. Are they irretrievably lost to you? Will they never return your love? Are they overwhelmingly cruel? From the bottom of my heart I'm sorry you have had to feel such pain. I'm sorry they lost their life. I'm sorry you made such terrible mistakes they will never forgive you. I'm sorry they became someone you did not want to love. I'm sorry you are so afraid of not receiving love. I'm sorry you value yourself so little that you only deserve pain.

I likely don't know you and never will, but I don't have to. Love makes us all better. In loving ourselves and others we can bring such happiness into our lives. I want to live in a world full of happiness. Think of the wonderful things that the could exist in such a world! I want to the chance to experience such a beautiful world. One full of such love. I have learned so much from the love people have given me. They showed me how much I had to gain by opening my heart up. If we can look inward and challenge our false preconceptions, if we can free our minds from dogma and social norms, if we can free ourselves to love who we want to how we want to imagine what we could have the chance to experience.
