Masks

We build walls to hide. We build roads to hold the earth together. The foundations straining to bind the earth like a Corset.
You are not who you seem. You are someone else. I don't know you.
Who am I? Do I know?
We crumble like that which we build. We can't hide from ourselves.
We needn't lose what we've learned.
We can learn to see without eyes. To feel without touch. We needn't be lost. Let us free ourselves from the masks.
Let us live with the world. Not on it. Let us live with each other. Not in chains. Of the world.
We needn't cage the wind.
Bottle the sunshine.
Trap the rain.
Instead we can be free.
We needn't hide.
Never did
